GlassGuard™ Warranty Policy


Overview

Every GlassGuard™ order includes a standard 30-Day Warranty at no additional cost. For customers who want longer-term peace of mind, we also offer an optional 1-Year Extended Warranty, available for purchase at checkout.


Standard 30-Day Warranty

Included with every order, automatically.

All GlassGuard™ cameras are covered against manufacturing defects and hardware malfunctions for 30 days from the date of purchase. If your camera arrives defective or stops functioning within this period under normal use, we will replace the unit or issue a full refund — no questions asked.

What's covered:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship present at the time of purchase
  • Hardware malfunctions under normal and intended use
  • Failure to power on, connect to Wi-Fi, or function as described
  • Camera sensor or lens defects affecting image or video quality

What's not covered:

  • Physical damage caused by the customer
  • Water or liquid damage beyond the product's rated protection
  • Damage caused by improper installation
  • Loss or theft of the device
  • Normal wear and tear

1-Year Extended Warranty

Optional. Available at checkout.

By adding the 1-Year Extended Warranty to your order, your coverage is extended to 12 months from the date of purchase. All protections included in the Standard 30-Day Warranty apply for the full 12-month period, under the same terms and conditions.

What's covered:

  • All items covered under the Standard 30-Day Warranty, extended to 12 months
  • Hardware malfunctions that develop during normal use within the coverage period
  • App connectivity failures caused by a confirmed hardware defect
  • Motion detection or AI alert system failures due to a hardware issue

What's not covered:

  • Physical damage caused by dropping, crushing, or improper handling
  • Water or liquid damage beyond the product's rated protection level
  • Damage caused by improper installation or failure to follow setup instructions
  • Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, or discoloration
  • Damage caused by use of unauthorized accessories or power sources
  • Loss or theft of the device
  • Damage caused by natural disasters, fire, or flood
  • Issues caused by third-party software, apps, or network configurations
  • Normal wear and tear over time
  • Products with tampered or removed serial numbers

Coverage Period

  • Standard Warranty: 30 days from the date of purchase
  • Extended Warranty: 12 months from the date of purchase

Claims submitted after the applicable coverage period will not be honored.


How to File a Claim

To submit a warranty claim under either plan, contact our support team at support@themartson.com with the following:

  1. Your full name and order number
  2. Proof of Extended Warranty purchase (if applicable)
  3. A description of the issue you are experiencing
  4. Photos or video demonstrating the defect or malfunction

Our team will review your claim within 2 business days. If approved, we will either replace the defective unit or issue a refund, at our discretion.


Limitations

Both warranties are non-transferable and apply only to the original purchaser. They do not cover consequential or incidental damages arising from product malfunction. These warranties give you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by state or country.
